While the chicken was decent, I can only imagine how fantastic it would have been fresh out of the kitchen. The customer service was excellent, which earns a high rating, but I’m docking a star since phone orders require payment upfront. Upon walking in, I found the atmosphere to be inviting, and given that it was a warm day, I really appreciated that the AC was working well. Overall, a solid experience! ”

“ Insanely delicious Korean food. Japchae is so good and probably the only one you can find in SCV. The drumsticks are HUGE, too. And I cannot tell you how perfect the fry was on the fried chicken. Update: I went back again today because it was so good. The food remained very tasty, and this eatery remains 5-star by a wide margin. However, for the benefit of management who might read this update, I do have to note that there were considerable errors with my group's orders this time around. Out of four of us, three of our orders had mistakes. One person didn't get their side of coleslaw with their wings; one person didn't get the seasoning on their fries, which cost $1 more; and I was handed a soy garlic chicken sandwich when I ordered the original Korean BBQ flavor. We enjoyed everything very much, and the staff were nice, but it might be time for a quick retraining on reading tickets when it is a bit busy. It was also very warm in the shop, even hotter than it was outside on a warm winter day, so might be time to review the AC settings. ”

“ Tried this place on a last minute food search night and it was so delicious. It was a bit pricey for the portions, but it definitely did the craving satisfaction trick. The Bulgogi fries were amazing!!! ”

“ Bonchon never disappoints. The yanyeyum sauce is so addictive . Everything is so fresh and doesn’t take long for our order to come out.The quality is consistent every time I come here. The sides are just as good, especially the seasoned fries and pickled radish. The staff is friendly and super helpful , the atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and the food always comes out hot. If you’re craving amazing fried chicken with bold flavors, Bonchon is 100% worth it. ”
